17.06.2026: UK Music is developing a Manifesto for Music for Northern Ireland ahead of the Northern Ireland Assembly elections in May 2027.

As part of the manifesto, we are inviting people who work in music or music education in Northern Ireland to take part in a short survey where they can share their thoughts and help shape the future of music in Northern Ireland.

The manifesto will set out bold, practical policies to support the growth of Northern Ireland’s music sector, strengthen its global reputation, and develop the next generation of talent. We are seeking ambitious, deliverable ideas that can drive meaningful change for the industry. The survey closes on July 17 and can be found at https://tinyurl.com/y357v4ht

The Northern Ireland Manifesto for Music follows the launch of our Manifestos for Music in Scotland and Wales ahead of key elections which took place on May 7 this year. Each of the manifestos was based around a five-point plan designed to turbocharge economic growth, music tourism, employment and ensure a top class music education is available to all.
