13.05.2022: UK Music’s Music Academic Partnership is to host a major symposium on the use of data and the future for teaching and careers in the music industry.

The symposium will look at the future of data and its impact on teaching and careers in the music industry and is co-sponsored by Music ID, the world’s premier aggregator of global music industry data.

The online event will feature speakers from industry, research, skills and education and take place on Thursday May 26 from 10am to 2.30pm.

Open to all and free to attend, the symposium provides a chance to hear from a wide range of speakers including stellar early-career professionals from UK Music’s Outstanding MAP Graduate Award recipients 2021, as well as academics from UK Music’s Music Academic Partnership.

The symposium will explore both the use of data by the music industry and its current and future use in music industry skills and education.
