12.08.2024: UK Music’s Communications Manager Jennifer Geddes is to share her skills by becoming a Board member for talent development organisation Generator. 

In addition to her role at UK Music, Jennifer will support Generator’s work to support talent and build a sustainable music industry in the North of England for all.

Generator’s mission is to retain talent and develop powerful pathways into the industry, without the need to leave the area.

Jennifer said:

“I am delighted to be joining Generator as a Board member. I spent many years working in the Cardiff music scene, running a venue, putting on gigs, and supporting local acts, so I understand both the benefits and challenges facing music industries based outside of London.

“The work that Generator is doing to  develop a sustainable industry in the North of England is ground-breaking and I hope that it will be of inspiration to not only other areas of the UK, but also internationally.”
