29/07/17: Digital Minister Matt Hancock to speak at Manchester event
UK Music has lined up a brilliant panel to discuss the impact of Brexit on the music business and more than 140,000 people who work in the sector that generates £4.4 billion a year for the UK economy.
Digital Minister Matt Hancock will be among the guests for our fringe event titled: “Brexit Means Brexit: But What Does It Mean For Music?”
It takes place at 1pm on Monday at Manchester Central in Exchange 10 – but it is within the secure zone so you will need a conference pass to get in.
We are delighted that Chelmsford MP Vicky Ford and CBI director-general Carolyn Fairbairn will also be on the panel.
UK Music chief executive Michael Dugher will chair the fringe event which follows the “Brexit” fringe events we held at the Labour and Liberal Democrat conferences.
Refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there!
