22.07.2025: Discover! Creative Careers, an industry-led programme that is working to ensure there is a larger and more diverse intake of talent via a broader range of routes into the creative industries, is working with UK Music again this year.

After the previous years’ successes, the programme is expanding industry encounters for schools and colleges to the whole month of November 2025.

Courtney Wallace of UK Music said: “We’re excited to get involved for the whole month this year. So much came from our involvement in 2024, and we’re really happy to continue building more and more with such a passionate organisation.”

UK Music worked with other creative industries to develop Discover! Creative Careers when we saw that a dedicated space was needed to really push the amazing opportunities in and benefits of careers in the creative industries – as well as bust some myths and help young people navigate their way in.

Last year UK Music collaborated with Discover! Creative Careers on a number of projects, such as the YouTube x DCC short documentary featuring artist Dilettante on the range of professionals that bring live music to life, highlighting how many individuals behind the scenes are needed for musical performers to put on a gig, which you can watch here.

The programme is a great opportunity for young people to gain insight into real job roles and pathways from employers, through online and in-person events.
