UK Music today hosted the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport the Rt Hon Jeremy Wright MP QC and Creative Industries Minister Margot James MP for a roundtable discussion with UK Music Board members.

Discussion at UK Music’s HQ centred on the needs of touring musicians following Brexit as well as the Government’s upcoming Online Harms White paper. UK Music members also raised the Copyright Directive which was passed in the European Parliament today.

UK Music also briefed the Ministers on ongoing campaigns including music in education and the impact of business rates on grassroots music venues.
