03.02.2026: UK Music Chief Executive Tom Kiehl has hailed the incredible global power of British music as a glittering array of UK stars shone at the 2026 Grammy Awards.  

The 68th Grammy Awards, which took place in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1, saw a raft of British acts scoop major honours on a night to remember for the UK Music industry.  

Among the major British winners on the night was Olivia Dean who was crowned Best New Artist; Lola Young who won Best Pop Solo Performance for Messy; and Yungblud who scooped Best Rock Performance for his cover of Black Sabbath’s Changes (featuring Nuno Bettencourt, Frank Bello, Adam Wakeman, II) Live from Villa Park at Black Sabbath’s farewell Back to the Beginning show.  

Meanwhile, FKA Twigs won Best Dance/Electronic Album for Eusexua; Cynthia Erivo & Ariana Grande won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Defying Gravity; and Raye won the Harry Belafonte Best Song for Social Change Award for Ice Cream Man. 

Rock legends The Cure picked up two awards on the night, taking home Best Alternative Music Album for Songs of a Lost World and Best Alternative Music Performance for Alone.
