02/11/18: UK Music are excited to be running the Career Fair area of BBC Music Introducing LIVE 2018.

We’re taking over North Vault 3 at Tobacco Dock for the three-day event, taking place from November 8-10.

We have a great line-up each day with a range of activities including: Immersive VR Experience provided by KAVE, ‘Meet the Industry’ career drop-in (with UK Music members, Handle recruitment agency, BIY People & Talent, Urban Development, Kycker, Glen Rowe Muse’s Tour manager, Go North Music, ERIC Festival, Outstanding MAP Graduate nominees and others) and ‘Meet the Artists’ sessions.

We’re hosting Scratch Showcase opportunities for Music Academic Partnership (MAP) Students, an MPG and Eric Martin (Technotronic) presentation on self-producing artists, AIM presentations on ‘Get paid to do what you love’, hand-made guitar-maker Fidelity, one-to-ones with PRS Foundation on both their Keychange initiative and artist funding schemes and one-to-ones with Urban Development on branding and marketing.

We are also holding two evening networking events from 7-9pm, with Thursday’s focussing on publishing with Hal Leonard and the MPA, and Friday’s discussing Tech in Music with Kycker, KAVE and others.

There’ll be a drink on our sponsors at these evening events and it’ll be a great opportunity to network.

The artists popping in to see us during the ‘Meet the Artists’ sessions will be: SK Shlomo, ShaoDow, Skatta & Y-Etizm, Emma McGann, Eckoes, Eric Martin, Lauren Deakin-Davies and Satin Beige.
