22.12.17: To celebrate our 10th anniversary, UK Music will be revealing a programme of events and campaigns throughout 2018 to mark our achievements over the last decade.

Over the last 10 years, music education has been one of our key focuses and we are committed to driving development in this area through our Education & Skills projects. So, to launch our 10th Anniversary year, we will head out on a 10 date tour of our MAP members.

MAP is a collaboration between a select group of educational institutions and the membership of UK Music. Its focus is on preparing individuals who want to build careers out of their passion for music.

In partnership with BBC Introducing  we will be bringing talent, industry and UK Music members to each of our MAP Universities to host workshops and panels to prepare students for graduation into this vibrant and fast paced UK music business.

Our first stop is in Leeds on January 23rd where MAP members Leeds Beckett University, Backstage Academy and Leeds College of Music will join us for an exciting day focused on music careers at the O2 Academy Leeds.

Students will have the opportunity to meet and hear from the experts at BBC Introducing, UK Music members Association of Independent Music (AIM), artists Pulled Apart by Horses and more.
Further details of the tour and our 10th Anniversary will be released in January.
