The UK Music Skills Academy is a new joint venture between UK Music and Creative & Cultural Skills which aims to increase collaborative working between the music industry and the education sector for the benefit of young people aspiring to work in the sector.
The Academy was launched in July 2013 with Culture Minister Ed Vaizey MP, Baroness Meral Hussein-Ece, Patron of the Academy and Live Nation COO Paul Latham, CBI CEO John Cridland, and UK Music CEO Jo Dipple.
