Modern University of the Year three years in a row – 2014, 2015 and 2016 – in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide and University of the Year 2015 in the Times Higher Education Awards Coventry University has a lot to shout – or indeed sing - about.

The teaching staff are composers, performers and experts with strong international profiles undertaking world leading research whilst offering a vibrant and creative environment. Their students have access to professional practices, new research and outstanding graduate support. There are also internship and work placement opportunities with various music publication companies and opportunities to study abroad.

Courses such as the Music Technology BSc (hons) – industry recognised as excellent through JAMES accreditation - is designed to reflect the range of areas that make up the subject of music technology and the wide range of jobs that may be available to you once you have completed your studies. Throughout your time there you will learn about the principles of sound and acoustics, musical instrument acoustics, music composition and production, recording equipment through to software/ hardware and the current business environment.

Coventry is bidding to become UK City of Culture 2021 and Coventry University is playing a leading role in the bid and the cultural development of the city.
