Bucks New University

Policy

Whether you are interested in developing artists, social media or brand marketing, Bucks New courses will give you a broad overview of the music and entertainment business. You’ll learn about music cultures and develop key entrepreneurial skills relevant to this rapidly evolving sector through courses such as Music and Live Events Management, Music Business and Event and Festival Management.

Bucks New has excellent teachers, well-equipped spaces and household names as partners. Audio and Music Production for example is also a JAMES and SkillSet accredited course, which carries real weight with employers when you graduate. Close ties with schemes such as BBC Introducing allows Audio and Music Production students to record sound and work on post-production. Your work will get airtime on the Bucks, Berks and Beds BBC Introducing radio show, as well as BBC YouTube and possibly even iPlayer.

Bucks New also offers innovative courses such as Music Performance management BA (hons) - the first of its kind in Europe. Designed for the new breed of artists, it covers the most important aspects for individuals to manage their own music brand in this rapidly evolving industry.
