UK Music has lined up a stellar cast of expert panellists to help party conference visitors make sense of what Brexit could mean for the UK music industry.
At the Liberal Democrat conference in Bournemouth on Monday September 18, our panel will feature Christine Jardine MP (Lib Dem Shadow Secretary of State for DCMS), Jane Bonham-Carter (Lead Lib Dem Spokesperson on DCMS in the House of Lords), Tim Clement-Jones (Lib Dem Spokesperson on the Digital Economy in the House of Lords) and Councillor Jon Tolley (Kingston councilor and owner of Banquet Records.
The event takes place at 1pm in the Bryanston Suite of the Highcliff Hotel, Bournemouth and be chaired by Vick Bain, CEO of BASCA.
At the Labour conference in Brighton on Tuesday September 26, our panel will feature Kevin Brennan MP (Shadow Deputy DCMS Secretary), Sharon Hodgson MP (co-chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Music) and Stewart Wood (Labour peer and former Number Ten adviser on Culture, Media and Sport).
The event will take place at 1pm in Arundel 2 at the Holiday Inn, Brighton and will be chaired by Musicians’ Union general secretary Horace Trubridge.
At the Conservative conference in Manchester on Monday October 2, our panel will feature the Rt Hon Matt Hancock (Digital Minister), Vicky Ford MP (MP for Chelmsford) and Carolyn Fairbairn (Director-General of the CBI). The event starts at 1pm in Exhibition 10, Manchester Central, Manchester and will be chaired by UK Music CEO Michael Dugher.
