30.09.2026: UK Music has revealed a brilliant line up for our Conservative Party conference panel in Birmingham where we will discuss the Government’s devolution plans and what they mean for music.
Our theme for this year’s conference panel sessions is Madchesterism: Putting Music at the Heart of Devolution. As power moves from Westminster to the UK’s towns, cities and regions, we explore with policymakers and delegates how music can drive economic growth, bolster communities and inspire future generations.
UK Music’s panel at the Conservative conference in Birmingham will take place on Monday October 5 from 10.30am to 12pm in the Sir David Amess Theatre, which is inside the secure zone.
The session will be chaired by UK Music Chief Executive Tom Kiehl and the panel will include former Chair of LGA Lord Porter of Spalding, BPI Head of Policy and Public Affairs Beth Sidwell, Punch Records CEO Ammo Talwar MBE and PRS for Music Public Affairs Manager Meg Harding.
