UK Music chief in house band for political comedy show

UK Music chief executive Michael Dugher is in the house band for the return of political comedy show Unspun With Matt Forde which returns tonight (May 17).

Hosted by comic Forde, the six-part series is returning for a third run on the Dave channel in the build-up to the General Election.

Michael, an accomplished guitarist, has joined the ranks of Parliamentary band MP4 as a guest musician for the show. The topical programme is recorded just a few hours before its 10pm transmission time.

Unspun features witty up-to-the-minute analysis of the election campaign and discussions with political figures. 

The line-up of MP4 is rotating during the election campaign, with the band tonight also featuring Ian Moss (BPI), ex-MP Ian Cawsey and Stewart Wood (Labour peer). Unspun will be screened on Wednesdays and Sundays.
