28.11.2025: UK Music and the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Music hosted a charity music quiz in aid of Help Musicians.
The event took place on November 26 at The Vault, Walkers of Whitehall, London.
Hosted by Bob Stanley of the band Saint Etienne and Pete Selby of New Modern Books, the quiz saw music industry leaders and parliamentarians field a total of 14 quiz teams, including UK Music members The Musicians’ Union, BPI, MMF and PRS for Music, as well as other stakeholders including the IPO, DCMS and ISM and parliamentary staff teams.
Prizes on the night included vinyl records, a selection of music books, hearing protection from Flare Audio and HMV vouchers for the winning teams.
Among the MPs in attendance were APPG on Music Co-Chairs Alex Sobel MP and Pete Wishart MP, UK Music Chair Lord Tom Watson of Wyre Forest, Anneliese Midgeley MP, Jeff Smith MP, Jo Platt MP, Leigh Ingham MP, Amanda Hack MP, Anna Sabine MP, Will Forster MP, Jess Brown Fuller MP, Justin Madders MP, and Lord Dave Watts
Also in attendance was BPI Head of Policy & Public Affairs Beth Sidwell, Music Managers Forum CEO Annabella Coldrick, Musicians’ Union General Secretary Naomi Pohl, and PRS for Music Head of Policy and Public Affairs Julia Rowan.
All proceeds from the event went to Help Musicians.
