Each year UK Music conducts a survey of British music. Your feedback allows UK Music to produce Measuring Music, an annual report assessing the health of the music sector in the UK. Your input is vital and we need you to fill out one of the survey forms below.

Measuring Music allows us to map the music economy, to analyse trends and to document the day-to-day conditions for hard working performers, writers, composers, producers, engineers and managers.

Our most recent Measuring Music report revealed that 119,020 jobs were supported by music in 2015, generating in excess of £4.1billion for the UK economy. Music is the engine room of the creative economy and this report gives us the hard statistics we need to negotiate the best policies for your future.

It helps us fight against the threats to grassroots music, like the closure of some of the country’s best and most-loved small venues…

It helps us lobby the Treasury for tax incentives (like those the film and video games industry benefit from) to help creators…

It helps us fight to protect the value of your copyrights and your IP…

But most of all it helps us recognise and acknowledge the value of your work!

For all of these reasons, and more, we need your help. Please fill out one of these surveys and enable us to fight for your collective interests.

If you are a manager, please click here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/MMUK2017

And remember, your input will help us to produce Measuring Music which arms us to fight for your collective interests.

To show our gratitude, we’ll enter you into a draw for the chance to win one of the following fantastic prizes:

Elektro Digitakt

The Elektron Digitakt is the latest drum machine/sampler/groovebox from synth pioneers Elektron. With a raw digital percussion engine designed to provide unique percussive tones and a powerful sampling engine rolled into one machine, that gives you a flexible and unique toolkit for building your own, beats, sounds and textures.

Sontronics Aria microphone

The award-winning Sontronics ARIA will give you stunning, beautiful results on every recording, thanks to its silky-smooth characteristics, its accurate response and our trademark Sontronics high-frequency roll-off.
Housed inside the chromed grille is a large, 1.07-inch, edge-terminated capsule that captures all the detail and subtleties of any male or female vocal (sung or spoken) while the hand-selected European 12AX7/ECC83 tube lends a character that you'd expect to find in a classic vintage valve mic.

Sennheiser HD 800 headphones

The HD 800 is the closest your will get to replicating the basic acoustic conditions of natural hearing. They incorporate Sennheiser’s most advanced driver technology, these open, circum-aural dynamic stereo headphones redefine what reference-level audio is all about. You will form an altogether new height of sonic perspective as you experience a high-fidelity natural hearing experience.
