Are you a UK Musician, Songwriter, Composer, Producer, Engineer or Manager and would like to be in with the chance of winning the following prizes?...
Every year UK Music conducts a survey of British music. Your feedback allows UK Music to produce Measuring Music, an annual report assessing the health of the music sector in the UK. Your input is vital and we need you to fill out one of the survey forms below.
Measuring Music allows us to map the music economy, to analyse trends and to document the day-to-day conditions for hard working performers, writers, composers, producers, engineers and managers.
Last year Measuring Music revealed that 117,000 jobs were supported by music in 2014, generating in excess of £4.1billion to the UK economy. Music is engine room of the creative economy and this report gives us the hard statistics we need to negotiate the best policies for your future.
It helps us fight against the threats to Grassroots music like the closure of some of the country’s best and most beloved small venues…
It helps us lobby the Treasury for tax incentives (like those the Film and Video Games industry benefit from) to help creators…
It helps us provide tangible evidence as to why BBC Music services should not be cut or affected by Charter Renewal…
It helps us fight to protect the value of your copyrights and your IP… But most of all it helps us recognise and acknowledge the value of your work!
For all of these reasons, and more, we need your help. Please could you fill out one of these surveys:
