UK Music responds to the Independent Review of Intellectual Property & Growth.

The Department for Business, Innovation & Skills have published Digital Opportunity – an independent review of intellectual property and growth, led by Professor Ian Hargreaves. UK Music will give careful consideration to the recommendations made by Professor Hargreaves over coming weeks and respond formally in due course.

UK MUSIC: CREATIVE INDUSTRIES NEED COORDINATED POLICY-MAKING

As reported by Music Week, in a speech this morning (December 14th) to the Work Foundation, Shadow Culture Secretary Ivan Lewis called on Government to create a cross-government group to coordinate policy-making across the creative industries.
